Even though Christmas is not too far away, I'm already looking forward to the new year and new catalogues!! Today I'm sharing some projects that I've designed for my application for display stamper for OnStage in April using products from the upcoming 2018 Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogues.
My first card uses the Petal Palette stamp set, Petals & More Thinlits and the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper. Colours: Fresh Fig, Early Espresso, Whisper White

My first 3D item features the Lots of Lavender Sale-A-Bration stamp set and Special Celebrations stamp set from the Annual Catalogue. I spritzed the white pizza box with Crumb Cake ink and alcohol. It's finished off with a piece of Wood Textures Designer Series Paper and a piece of Silver Sequin Trim. Colours: Always Artichoke, Wisteria Wonder, Crumb Cake, Whisper White.

My second 3D item is a decorated acetate box featuring my favourite new stamp set: Magical Day! The adorable knight was coloured in with water colour pencils and an aquapainter. The bricks were coloured in with Stampin' Write markers. Colours: Bermuda Bay, Smokey Slate, Basic Gray, Silver, Whisper White.

This card uses a piece of the new Sale-A-Bration Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series paper. The yellow design look just like honeycomb! A little bee from the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits completes it! Colours: Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Basic Black.

This card uses Petal Palette Memories & More card pack (with its fabulous stickers!). The smile is a cut-out that comes with the card pack that I sponged with Calypso Coral ink. I also sponged the little heart sticker. Colours: Calypso Coral, Basic Black, Whisper White, Pink Pirouette.

My scrapbook page is my last project and it uses the Petal Passion suite. These pictures are from my parent's 25th Anniversary in 2005. The flowers and leaves were coloured in using Watercolor Pencils and a blender pen. The lovely word is a cut-out embellishment included in the Petal Passion Memories & More card pack. Colours: Island Indigo, Whisper White, Silver, Basic Black, Old Olive, Smokey Slate, Vellum.

Snowflake Decoration

December 07, 2017 in ,
A few months ago I saw on both Pinterest and something that Stampin' Up! had shared about decorating a star with similar elements that I have on this snowflake. Couldn't find a star but I think the snowflake looks even better! The snowflake is about 11" x 11", maybe a bit smaller. The JOY card is mounted on a piece of chipboard (I keep the chipboard that comes inside each of the photo pocket page zipper bags for projects like this). The size is 3.25" x 2.75".

To assemble I used hot glue. It took some time to lay it out ahead of time and then make sure that the card would sit right on top of all the elements and not cover anything. This one will be a present but I have another one made with a different type of snowflake that will hang at my house this month.

Supplies
Stamps: none
Colours: Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper, Large Letter Framelits, Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, Green Sprigs, Mini Silver Ornaments, Gold Metallic Snowflakes, chipboard from inside packaging of the photo pocket pages. Red holly berries and chipboard snowflake (both not Stampin' Up!)

Happy December! Welcome to my blog and I hope you are enjoying everyone's fabulous projects! Today I am sharing my set-up for December Daily using Stampin' Up!'s Merry Little Christmas Memories & More card pack and the Merry Little Christmas suite. This is my 4th year doing December Daily. If you are unfamiliar with December Daily it is a daily memory keeping of events in December, mostly centered on Christmas celebrations and preparations, I first came across this idea from Ali Edwards. I've always done Dec 1 to Dec 31, the whole month and a perfect way to end the year with New Year's Eve!

Here are some of the elements that will be used this month: album, photo pocket pages, and Merry Little Christmas Memories & More card pack. My goal is to have this completed by mid January 2018, with pictures cropped and edited on the weekends for the previous week, printed maybe 3 different times throughout the month at Costco. I already have the numbers cut out in different colours.

This will be my title and day one page. The bottom 2 4x6 pockets are reserved for photos I'll take today. As the month goes on I should be able to plan some pages ahead of time but I find that if I do too many ahead then I change my mind and get frustrated that I have to redo some of the work I've already done!

A close up of the date pocket and filler card. It's hard to tell but the holly and leaves (a sticker from one of the two sticker sheets included in the Memories & More card pack) on the Fa la la card are popped up on a mini dimensional.

And here is day 2 and 3. Some pages I will split into 2 days but sometimes if I have a lot of photos it might spread over 2 pages or more! It all depends on what we do this month.

Supplies
Stamps: Carols of Christmas, Labeler Alphabet
Colours: Old Olive, Basic Black, Lemon Lime Twist, Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: Merry Little Christmas Memories and More card pack, Black Faux Leather 12" x 12" Album, 12" x 12" Pocket Pages, Large Number Framelits, Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, Copper Foil Paper, Stitched Shapes Framelits

I hope you will check back with me every week to see what I've done and that you enjoy the rest of the blog's in today's hop! Thanks!

The piece of Wood Textured Designer Series Paper with the embossing paste trees has been sitting on my desk for too long... since the September crop maybe? The great thing about embossing paste is that you can create your own masks to use with it! Made mine by using a piece of Whisper White cardstock and cut out the trees using the Card Front Builder tree framelits and the Big Shot. If you wanted to create a mask that is reusable I would suggest using a piece of Window Sheet (something that's on my to do list!).

After trimming down the designer series paper I stamped the main image with Versamark and embossed with Copper Embossing Powder. Stamped the flower and leaves, put everything thru the Big Shot and put together! Definitely will be one of the cards I'll be sending out for Christmas!

Supplies
Stamps: Carols of Christmas
Colours: Copper, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive
Accessories: Card Front Builder Dies, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Embossing Paste, Stampin' Dimensionals, Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack, Versamark, Copper Embossing Powder

Bermuda Bay Christmas Card

November 16, 2017 in ,

This colour combo is not traditional but I love it! Found a card similar to this one with this colour scheme on Pinterest. I think I will make some more of these cards to sell at my craft fairs that are coming up soon! Join me Nov 26 at the RCAFA Club at Norman Rogers Airport, Dec 2 at the Battersea United Church and Dec 3 at the Selby Hall.

Did you see the announcement on Monday from Stampin' Up! about the Stamparatus? It's an awesome new stamp positioning tool that I was able to see at Onstage in Salt Lake City last week! Today at 4pm EST you can reserve yours by logging in to the online store. See below for directions on how you can reserve yours!

Supplies
Stamps: Carols of Christmas
Colours: Bermuda Bay, Smokey Slate, Lemon Lime Twist
Accessories: Card Front Builder Dies

Day 3 already! Time has flown by. It has been so much fun here in Salt Lake City. I am looking forward to being home again with my husband and dog but sad to leave all my friends and fun here at OnStage!

My third and final swap is a Christmas card featuring a stamp set from the Holiday Catalogue. The Hearts Come Home stamp set is so perfect for this time of year! This is the first one I made as a full card to see if I liked the design. You might notice under the houses there is glitter, I put a swipe of Wink of Stella to create a snow base but then forgot to add it to my swaps!

Supplies
Stamps: Hearts Come Home
Colours: Pool Party, Dapper Denim, Island Indigo
Accessories: Wood Textured Designer Series Paper Stack, Holly Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Stampin' Dimensionals, Wink of Stella
